As an attorney you should realize many questions are never simple, there is always a reason. Envious was my opinion and my opinion is also that most people who love baseball would also love to make their entire income from being involved in the sport; therefore, envious.
I think it is absolutely wonderful that a local high school coach that gets a stipend for coaching baseball has the opportunity to make it a career.

Anybody can have a hobby and most people with a hobby would love to be paid for it!

Good Job Coach Lee!

Off to a game!

Redbird et al, Sorry, been busy and have not paid attention to HSBW and all the fuss. Two years ago I made the comment that raised the ire of a couple of HSBW Old Timers (I am not mentioning any names at the risk of doing so again) by posting (my opinion) that I thought Coach Clark was doing a better job of recruiting the local talent than (then) ODU Coach...Coach Meyers. That is not the case with Coach Finwood, as more than a few local players have committed to play at ODU from the 2012 and 2013 class (as many on this website have read). Therefore, the "good fit" I was referring too...(and was nothing more than modestly saying) that tactically the move makes sense for Norfolk State and Coach Clark. Coach Lee is a known commodity in the Tidewater and is well respected (at least) on the Southside. If the position should become permanent, I believe that Coach Lee will be able to help the recruiting effort for NSU to get players who might otherwise be drawn to ODU to play baseball. Just my opinion.
