Just a suggetion...what if you post links to the threads you plan to delete before you delete them so that we can get an idea of what is being deleted. What might seem like junk to me and you might be a treasure to some one else....I have seen Julie's plea so I understand why you are deleting but there may be some of the old threads that may still be valuable. There are some classic posts by Former Observer, Panther Dad, Old Bat Never and many others that I would hate to see deleted...

Can you tell I am a pack-rat and don't like to throw things out? I hope the TLC Hoarder's show doesn't show up at my front door looking to do an intervention. Smile

Natural - Agreed, I miss a lot of the posters that some newer posters have probably never heard of .... Texan, Train (okay he was trouble but it was still interesting), momandcpa, KellerDad, BigHit15, JAFO, Dtiger, Danny Boydston, Old Pitcher, Infield08, FormerObserver, Panther Dad, OBN,honest and unbiased, and even good ole Uncle Ethan. Smile

Yep, I sound like an old codger now but I miss a lot of the folks that have moved on....

A reunion? Up in Floyd Co.? In Floydada at the Bunkhouse Motel & RV Park? Nice place. Corner of 2nd and Kentucky. You can bust it up pretty good before they start crackin' heads. Should be a good time. I might even drag my ol' Airstream© down there. It's so old it even has Wally Byam's autograph on the shower curtain. You've heard that ol' sayin': "If this Airstream's© a rockin', don't bother a knockin'!" Happens everytime I latch it up wrong on the hitch.

Just saw this pic of good ole Floydada. Grew up there and actually had to stay at the Bunk House for Thanksgiving a couple years ago. Great Place and Great People. Very nice for this Reunion you're speaking of. Ha!

I had a hunch someone on this board had probably stayed there. I grew up in a small town on the coast of Oregon. I miss those small towns...I really do.

Here's my small town's partner to The Bunk House Motel©. Tillamook's finest...

Never stayed there, but drove by it all of the time. Even had a one-way street on either side...US 101. All of that blue overhead, never saw that too often. Tillamook gets right around 100 inches of rainfall annually...spread out over 11 damp and drizzly months. Looks like the day they snapped this postcard in the early sixties the guests were driving a red Plymouth Valiant, a green and white Rambler wagon, a red Chevrolet Corvair, and a big, two toned, white over red Oldsmobile wagon.

I'm still around, just don't post much. I try to check in every couple of weeks to see what is going on in HS and Select Baseball.

I do miss it.

And as far as cleaning up the Forum, if Julie says the database needs it, then go for it. If not, leave them alone....the website doesn't run slow and there isn't a need to do it.

I've been around here since before the "Big Crash" of the last board software.

If it ain't broke....
