Great story, and congrats to Robby.

Not sure if anyone else noticed but in the stats, his max fastball velocity was 87.27 in 2016.

Makes me feel hopeful for my 2017 LHP in the mid 80's...he hopes to prove people wrong too, not right now the MLB people, but some of the college coaches who passed on him for harder throwing guys.

High and college coaches love guys who throw hard, but so many times those guys have control problems. Give me the guy who just gets outs with great control and varying his pitches, ie Kyle Hendricks and Greg Maddox.  I rather see someone throw 8 pitches in an inning, than try to do nothing but strike people out.
