A 2008 OF looking for free or inexpensive showcase to increase exposure. I've been invited to some PG showcases but i just don't have the means for them.

What age player? If you are a junior this year then go to the Empire State Games Tryout for your region. Some coaches do come to the tryouts. More to the games themselves. See if your travel team will be playing in a showcase league or going to any showcase tournaments. The showcases listed on this website that my son attended were all well run and well attended. Others may have been cheaper, but some were unorganized. Do your research. will the schools you are interested in be represented at the showcase?

There are ways to get exposure even if you can't afford it. I need to know who you are and can probably get someone to see you play. Won't cost you a dime. If we think you are good, we have the ability to let everyone in scouting and recruiting know about you.

If you were in MA I'd say the Bay State Games...I think in NY they have the Empire State Games.
