Another complete game shut for Zak Herman.
Ryan Angus pitched well for Hebron after giving up 3 walks and a wild pitch in the first for the first run. Then keep the Cowboys off balance until the top of the 7th. Morris blasted a shot to left center that got stuck under the wall....or he might still be running, Toth brought him in with a double deep to right just over the right fielders head. Hebron had chances but just couldn't execute with runners in scoring position.

Hebron will be a tough to to face for someone in the playoffs.

Really a well played game by both teams. The Colony does a great job of putting on a game. In years past it was almost sad, now they have games (human dot race), t-shirt give aways, a very enjoyable experience.

Casey Selsor pitched a 2-hit shutout with 15 K's to defeat the #2 team in the district and clinch the 26-5A district title. Reagan is 15-0 in district and 28-2 overall.

We jumped on them early with back to back HR's in the bottom of the first and cruised from there. Next week will be what determines 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for 8-5A as Lamar faces Arlington and Martin.

Ringer1, have you heard the Lakeview/Naaman outcome. It wasn't in the paper. Seeing that Wylie score, I guess I should be excited that we were able to score two runs against Rowlett!
Rowlett's hitting and fielding is outstanding!!

Not Ringer1, but I know Naaman won, and I think the score was something like 5-3

Thanks Kirk. I think the Wolves bats in the playoffs will probably fare better against Herrick than teams in our district have.
