About the "WARHORSE" pitchers....they are childhood friends that played and were coached by the same guy for several years. They have both developed into very effective pitchers. One has given up only 1 ER in District play with buckets full of strikeouts and a handful of hits. (DMN or Colleyville still not updating stats for 3 weeks) Mad

After a two week rest anything can happen! Colleyville would love to go undefeated but not a must win for us.

I agree Grapevine has more at stake than CH. I just wish I could see them battle it out for maybe the last time during their High School careers.

Yes these two are the most dominant pitchers in 5-5A. the other "WARHORSE" is 8-1 (pitching EVERY game on the road this year) 1.3 era and has set a District record for road wins this year in 5-5A.(his stats have not been updated or corrected either)

Both, Great kids, good friends, and moving on to the next level in D1 baseball.

Oldtimer...

Ooopps....Steven Hill is undefeated on the road.

8-0 Three Shutouts - One against the district 5-5a Mustang Pitcher of the Year (2008).

The Hanson kid from Keller is also dominant force.

5-5A has some very good pitching and have enjoyed watching many of them. (Northwest kid also good)

Lets hope they keep washing their hands, taking vitamins, and we will all get to finish by JULY!

I agree with you PAW-FECT, Hill has been awesome but he like all of the other pitchers have had the luxury of getting to pitch at home also. The other kids have done great also.

Unfortunately, due to a schedule that probably won't happen again, only one school in 5-5A has had to play ALL FRIDAY GAMES ON THE ROAD against large hostile crowds, an extremely difficult task indeed.

The Friday "Warhorse" is 5-1 in District on Fridays AWAY, with lone loss AT NW 3-2 in 8 INNINGS (with no run support, left 13 runners on base). No other pitcher has had to face this type of obstacle this year.

I agree everyone needs to wash their hands and get back to playing baseball.
