Nick Thompson, Shane Johnsonbaugh, Kenny Cassidy and Matt Batten limited Lakeland to six hits. Nick Thompson picked up his sixth win of the season. Brandon Doggett (4 hits, 2 rbi), Jordan Kidd (3 hits, 4 rbi) and Shane Johnsonbaugh (3 hits, 2 rbi) led the Bruin hitting attack.
Hagwood hit a two run homerun for Lakeland in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Fc 5 Salem 4...pretty good game. Buddy Lawson started the offense with a 3 run homer and Cam Stephenson accounted fot the other runs for FC. Once again Zells small ball worked for them. Thats how they kept it close today!!

Christian Armstrong (Sp) has a no-hitter into the 9th. He pitches 10 innings only giving up 1 hit and 2 BB while striking out 19. Matt Houston steals the win (7-0) pitching the final three innings no hit with 8 Ks himself. The 27K combined is a new school record! I think the rain layoff certainly affected the sticks on both sides while helping the pitchers to be fresh.
Congratulations to Christian, he will be continuing his baseball career at Bridgewater College next year!
