A wind-blown game that saw two top starters - Preston Claiborne (NS) and Conner Huchingson (C) - give up as many or more earned runs in a few innings of work as they had all year. It looked like the heavy winds flattened out the ball movement from the mound and the hitters on both sides took advantage.
Don't be surprised to see these two meet up again in the playoffs... doesn't seem to be anyone in 10-5A that will challenge these teams.
