Here's a little riddle for Friday:

CROSS THE BRIDGE

U2 has a concert that starts in 17 minutes and they must all cross a bridge to get there. All four men begin on the same side of the bridge. You must help them across to the other side. It is night. There is one flashlight.

A maximum of two people can cross at one time. Any person or pair that crosses the bridge must have the flashlight with them. The flashlight is carried back and forth, throwing or rolling it could result in breaking it and the band is not taking any chances. Each band member walks at a different speed. A pair must walk together at the rate of the slower man's pace:

Bono: - 1 minute to cross
Edge: - 2 minutes to cross
Adam: - 5 minutes to cross
Larry: - 10 minutes to cross

Bongo and Edge goe first (2 minutes)
Edge comes back (2 minutes with a 4 minute total)
Adam and Larry go next (10 minutes with a 14 minute total)
Bono comes back (1 minute with a 15 minute total)
Bono and Edge go last (2 minute for a 17 minute total)

The U2 I know would have thrown the flashlight into the river, tossed down a Jack Daniels, threw roadies on the bridge then walked on the roadies over the bridge.
Total time: Depends on how hot the girl roadies are.

My batteries will last that long, but finding the flashlight when I need it - now that is a different matter. (I do like this new glow in the dark one though).

$20 stainless steel B&D flashlight.

$ 8 worth of D cell batteries alkaline to the MAX 4th.

Dark night with a flat.

Open up the trunk.

No flashlight.

Dead pink rabbit.

Others have a plug in spot light with Daylight symbol pasted on the side.

For me........

FLASHLESS!

Find flashlight dropped into bag of folding chair at first game next spring........
