Ahh - bitterness rears its ugly head. I wasn't there to witness the dog pile, but T-Bird dad said the same thing. With youth, sometimes the excitement of the moment takes over the brain. That and testosterone.

KD - I hope your son never has to suffer through the type of season these boys have.

Bitterness, naw. Keller made so many errors and weren't focused at all in the first district game. In a way, the loss made them a better team.

It depends on the district situation, the opposing team, etc. Typically, it's treated like any other game by our coaches (past & present). The seniors and their parents are recognized on the field before the game.

I heard that Keller Central is reversing the order of their games tonight in order to beat the rain. Varistiy will play first, then JV.

Had an "illegal" text from my son, the Marcus vs FMHS game has been moved to 4:30. It is starting to rain out here and I am hoping that it stops real soon......

You know come to think about it my son is getting pretty good at texting, his thumbs are looking bigger every day, he has increased his speed in reply's and I even think he might be setting all kinds of new records in texts per month,,,,,,,hope he isn't taking some sort of performance enhancing supplement???

On a baseball note, the Marcus vs FMHS game is moved to Saturday even though LHS and Hebron are playing at LHS (started at 4pm), guess LHS has better drainage than FMHS. Guess the delay gives Tuesday pitchers an extra day of rest hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?????

We got the Rocket going for us Saturday... He had some eligibility left so we found a loophole and got him in... Honestly I'm not sure who's going.. We will find out tomorrow..

After 5 1/3 innings, Colleyville Heritage - 5, Keller Central - 0. The game is to be finished tomorrow beginning at 2pm. The last game resumed the following day against Grapevine did not fare well. Hopefully, that lesson was learned.

Desoto - 0


Martin pitcher - Griffin - 1 2/3inn., 0r, 1h, 4k's
Desoto pitcher - Miller - 2inn, 3r, 4h, 2k's(?)


Word is we will try and finish starting at 1:00 Sat. or each hour until 7:00 Sat.

Game will resume where we left off in the bottom of the 2nd with 2 outs and an 0-2 count on the Desoto batter.
