I motion for HSBBWeb discussions to remain about high school baseball and the things that are involved with it. The large amounts of input from people is very much appreciated on the boards, but the discussions are beginning to stray a bit too off-topic for my taste. Recently I have witnessed more involvement from moderators than I ever have in the past. It can be attributed somewhat to the growing population of the site, but IMO it can also be attributed to the growing number of people using the boards for their own personal agendas that stray away from baseball discussion.

To those of you who continue to positively contribute to the boards, please stick around. It's a wonderful resource.

Yea right, peanuts, a Southern nut, figures, another Northern dig

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Once the glacier recedes and we climb out of the indoor batting caves our players clean up rather well

When dealing with adversity, as opposed to ignoring it, my favorite saying is...

it is, what it is.

We take it as it comes and deal with it. This is a great community, and within any community there is strife. Whether it's religion or linear vs. rotational hitting, it's there.

It always raises its ugly head at this time of year, and about the time we are tired of it and want to legislate it out of existence, it subsides.

It'll come back next year, and the year after, just like death and taxes.

It is, what it is. And personally, I wouldn't want to change it one bit.

P.S.....22 days 'till the opening of D1.

I've been here a long time along with many of you "Old Timers", and I think CPLZ hit the nail on the head:

iheart,

Its a Marsala based selection.

No mozzerella!

However, as an appetizer - I think I can come up with something seal-based - involving the mozzerella - and a vinegar/mustard/olive oil mixture - with some basil - that will work.

Isn't there a law about Italians that forces them to cook with garlic?

Tell me its...what does it look like they're doing back there?

What's that...one of 'em has a bottle of Marsala? Uncorked!

Tell me more its...another has a stick of butter?

    Garlic? Five cloves?

No, no, no...not mushrooms! Tell me they're not mushrooms its...please!

Joy of Cooking? Which page is opened up to? 65? That's not good...I know that page!
