The way the body coils and uncoils is controlled by the hands and upper body action.

the mlb pattern is very consistent.

you can feel it a lot better the more you exaggerate it, but the exaggerated form is also harder to control and if not controlled well will not be quick.

still most have to exaggerate it to feel it and learn it, and if controlled well, the exaggerated form can be just as quick if not quicker.

Look at Richie Allen in the other thread. Very exaggerated, but all the great mlb hitters are using the same sequence, stretching the muscles and lining the swing plane up the same way.

The front leg turns open at the same time the back elbow starts down a little as the hands untip/uncock/torque the handle.

The front arm then twists as the back leg and hips turn. This keeps the upper body turned back and the hips opening as a coiling/running start begins as the barrell accelerates rearward (rubberbandwinding).

It's tricky because you have to have figured out a workable grip and arm/forearm positions and you have to have the front shoulder tilted down and staying down and the weight going forward at thr right pace to then suppart a "GO" move that launches the barrell at the right time in the right plane.

The good news is, this is just explaining a capability that is already built into your body which you need to find by trial and error.

The more you know what info to avoid to prevnt finding the pattern and how/who to emulate. the better.

Trying to keep your front leg/foot from starting to turn open will usually screw things up/prevent the running start.

Try to look like a successful one that exaggerates the motion. GO CRAZY, take some hacks. You will occasionally square the ball in a certain way you know is right. A good coach can help you understand what's right.

Then learn to do that consistently. That part takes a lifetime or more.
