I think the runner up is better than the first one.
I don't know if I could call for a pitcher with a straight face. And, I wonder what the coach's reaction was when the umpire made the call. Was he OK with it or did he have a look of disbelief?
One of my favorites was during an adult game. Long story short, I had three balks in two batters and a coach gone in the first inning. A couple of innings later the manager passes me on the way to coach third, stops and asks," Why is it everytime there is a rules problem I am on the short end of it." I bit my tongue and replied I didn't know.
