Future Prospects.....

First off, just want to introduce myself to the board as Baseball14. Hung around here several years ago and plan to pickup where I left off. The site is GREAT!! My youngest son plays for Tom Matsie (be gentle) of the Arlington Longshots. They are a 13 year old National Team that plays out of Arlington Heights. We have a very talented group of young men as well as probably the best girl baseball player I have seen at this level. Just wanted to maybe start a little area here where we dads could show off and brag about our younger players....

Baseball14-Since you've just come back to the board you should also check out the pre-high school forum, good stuff for kids/parents your son's age. My son is also 13 and plays for Wasco, I'm sure we'll see you some time this summer. Tom's team's always play great fundamental baseball. No holes on defense, pitchers throw strikes and batters put the ball in play. I have also seen Theresa play and she is very good. Also, the girl on Buffalo Grove is a top player too.
