FloridaFan is headed up my way this weekend for a visit with his son. He has some offers on the table already but is checking out Belmont Abbey a D-2 program in the Charlotte area this weekend. I spoke to him at Jupiter and he is a great guy. His son is very very good. Keep them in your prayers and thoughts that they have a safe trip. And also that the visit goes well. It can be a very stressfull thing to make a college decision and then you add in the baseball and it can get down right crazy. Im hoping for selfish reasons that FF ends up at Belmont Abbey. But regardless of where he goes he will be very successfull.

Thank you Very Very much for your kind words Coach May. It was great visiting you in Jupiter! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the recruiting process with me and Congratulations of course to your Son and the Dirtbags for a Great Run down in Jupiter.

We did have a slight change in plans though...Eric received a call from an organization called "The Diamond Club" which is made up of professional scouts in Florida. Each year they have a showcase event where 100 players from around the state are invited. Eric got the call just yesterday, so I had to call Coach Smith at Belmont Abbey and ask if we could reschedule. He said it would be fine so long as we could get up there next week, so we are going to head your way next thursday!
