That is straight up taking care of business.
Geez - 5 homeruns in less than 5 innings????? I'm glad he tossed Zambrano to keep from embarassing himself anymore.
Very well done by the umpire.
Excellent work
I think Zambrano told everyone in the world that he tried to hit Chipper. When you get ejected and walk straight off the mound without arguing what does that tell you?
Zambrano was put on the "Disqualified" list today by Chicago... 30 Days without pay...
I imagine Z was mad at his coach for not yanking him before the 5th HR.

I'm mad at him too.
Zambrano has to be done with the Cubs. He pitches like garbage and then gets mad and takes it out on the team who is trying to hit him hard. To illustrate how bad he was last night he couldn't even hit a batter after two attempts on purpose.
I agree this was a good job by Timmons. Zambrano needs to thank him because I doubt any of the other Cubs were going to try and stop the Braves from putting a beat down on him.

agreed........thats how you do it gentlemen......
The way he tossed him looked good but taking care of the dugout was shear force of personality. I don't know what he said but it had to be something along the line of, I took care of it, stay in the dugout.
Great job by Timmons and Zambrano is one of the problems with baseball. That this "stiff" can be making 18-million guaranteed makes it almost impossible for the Cubs to get rid of him, and after his antics over the last few years I would guess they would love it if he never wore the Cubs uniform again.
