I'm not sure where you saw that, but it's not accurate. Hanover's JV beat Lee-Davis JV 10-0, but their varsity teams haven't played yet.

What IS very interesting is the fact that they haven't played. Their game was scheduled for Tuesday of this week. For Lee-Davis, that was their only scheduled game. Hanover also had Atlee scheduled for Friday, so they had their two biggest district games in one week. Rain made Tuesday a no go. Somehow they thought it was a good idea to bump the JV to Wednesday, but push the varsity contest back six weeks. Of course I'm not privy the inner workings of these rescheduled contests, but it seems to me that Hanover may have seen an opportunity to "adjust" their schedule a bit. With the frequency of rainouts, and the clear availability to play Wednesday (after all, that's when their JV teams played), why would they push the game back? FYI- the makeup now falls in a week when Hanover plays weaker district opponents plus a non-district game. Go ahead, call me a conspiracy theorist.

In regards to "adjusting" the schedule....sounds like a great/savy coach to me !!!!
Florence pitched 7 innings for Manchester and Midlo was up 2-1 in top of 7 when reliever got in trouble with 1 out it was E6, walk, HBP and the bases are loaded. So coach brings the CF in to pitch. Slider, slider, count is 0-2 and coach calls for a FB, but not that location and ding, seeya, grand slam, Midlo lost. I guess the CF needed juuuuust a bit more warm up.
