My son will be a freshman this fall. What would you like to know?
Forgot to say at Gardner-Webb he will be a freshman playing baseball.
What are the Coaches like? Does the school fully fund 11.7 scholarships? Do they have a fall baseball and a winter conditioning program?
I see some players are in summer leagues but is this available to all players?

GW has a great head coach-Stroupe. My son was impressed with the way they recruited. They were no nonsense in the approach and very practical minded. I am not sure of the # of baseball scholarships but they do have $. They seem to do a good job of blending $ too which makes me think they are not fully funded. They have fall practices and winter conditioning too. I think they try to find summer league play for players. My son was very interested in summer league play and they said they would work to place him. He leaves for school on Fri and I think the team has a meeting the next wk. Maybe I can give you more info after my son is there for a while. The pitching coach was a big attraction for my son. This coach has done some great things with his pitchers-2 recent graduates are now playing in minor league and Zack Ward had a good season in Cape Cod-ranked 13th.
