hello, can anyone give me some information on Grorge Washington university. Like what the coach is like, trhe facilties, and the college it's self. That would be great.

I heard that you can'y get any baseball money a GW, is this true?
The member 2,7&27Dad has a son at GWU. Hopefully he will see this and respond.
Even though the original post is a year old....would still be interested in any comments on the GW program.
Im pretty sure they dont give any baseball money.
It all goes to Basketball.
The field is Bancroft Park and many people have said its less than "nice".
They do winter work in their basekball stadium.
Its a Great Academic School though.

They do give baseball money. Not sure, but I believe they are funded at about eight scholarships.
Just saw that the GW Board approved an almost 4% hike in fees to be the first school to top $50,000.00 for a year. Article said highest price in nation
You get what you pay for---a GW degree means something in the business world
While the tuition is extremely high, it's not quite as bad as it could be. When a student enters as a freshman, his or her tuition is frozen at that amount for the next 4-5 years. So, if tuition is $39,000 per year when you start, it will stay that way until (hopefully) you graduate.
I happen to have gone to the GW baseball camp the past two year, and know the pitching/recruiting coordinator quite well. The staff is relatively new, but the program is certainly on the rise. If you are a pitcher, GW is the place to go- pitcher's sign out of there like crazy..
