Georgia Showcase information needed

wait until you finished your sophomore year until you attend any showcase, hit a college camp first your freshman year

I disagree with Dibble. My son attended the PG Underclassman as a sophomore. It was the best thing we could have done. He has been receiving many recruitling letters and I think a lot of it has to do with the notice he got there and the subsequent BA ranking.

We are already planning on my 09 attending at least one local college camp this summer, and we have talked about a showcase just for the experience. I'm not worried about rankings or how he compares because I know the majority of players will be older. But it will definately help in a few years when the rankings and comparisons will start making a difference and he can walk on the field knowing what to expect.

If you can get in as a sophomore, do it....it gives you a little experience for the junior year which is what really counts. Top96 takes one team of sophomores so it is limited but worth a try if you are good.
