I have seen kids who didn't perform as well in practice as the game, because they were focused in the game but not in practice. But this does not sound like your situation. So it has to be something else.
I don't know.. He tells me that when he knows the ball is coming to him.. He thinks too much about it...
During games, He doesn't think about fielding the ball, he just reacts naturally. I honestly don't put any pressure on him because I know he is fine when the games are being played. Plus, I wouldn't do that anyway.
