Getting the cap off of a bat

There's a little GW in all of us.

drill a hole in the cap with an electric drill....insert a philips screw driver and rock the cap back and forth until it comes out.....

to reinsert....Fill the hole with "gorilla glue" or any hardening plastic cement....coat the lip of the cap with oil reinsert into the tube...tap closed with a rubber mallet.

barring that, you could always try the thermonuclear device that RJM proposes....

Just don't fill it with superballs and use it in a game!! That might be harder to explain away than getting the end cap off.

side issue: an end cap comes off a bat once during a game and stuffed inside of the bat was a piece of foam; it looked like carpet-pad... I can't remember the brand ... I want to say Dimarini but not sure... I was surprised to say the least; no one tampered with the bat because it was in my possession the whole time...
