Getting to Navy's Field?

I did not get down there this weekend due to some wetness.. but I'm told, for all who might be wondering, that you park close by and walk in to the stadium.

The signs are clear driving to the Stadium.
Suggested parking is behind the stadium and is also well marked.

Thanks.... my first move was to check the Academy site. It makes it seem that all visitors must check through a gate... with cars being left off site.
Having never been into the fair city itself, I thought I might pick a local brain or two.

Actually the baseball field is not on the school grounds so you do not have to pass through a gate to watch a game. There is parking right at the field but it is limited and tends to fill quickly. There is parking above the softball field that is less than a 5 minute walk. You can't get onto school grounds without a DOD sticker on your car or be a parent of a presently enrolled mid.
