Saw this on Facebook today and thought it was excellent.
I posted this on my FB page this afternoon...my wife didn't get it...even after I asked what the guys name was and what base he was standing on...basically I had to spell it out for her!
it would help if I could read what's on the back of his jersey.

It occurs to me that players who read this board, especially, may not have heard the classic radio routine that provides the context for the poster and picture shown above. For those who haven't, here's a link to "Baseball Almanac's" webpage about it. Skip all the way down to the radio at the bottom of the page to listen to it.
Enjoy!

Anyone unfamiliar with this routine should be banished to the kickball boards...
No, Who is on second.

Given the fact these three guys are at Wrigley Field that is so appropriate !!!
I cannot listen to the original without laughing so hard I embarrass myself.

Exactly!
When my son was in the 5th grade he and a friend performed "Who's on First?" at their school talent show. He was Lou Costello. They brought the house down. They were the first pair to ever perform it, but from what we have been told it has been performed every year since. They still have it down, and have been called upon to revive it periodically. He's a junior now. My how time flies.

Ummmmm yeah. I could read that part.
When I coached 9/10 rec ball I gave a couple of baseball quizzes per year. The kids could take them home and do them with their parents. I gave $10 baseball cards to the top three scores. The questions would be about playing the game and baseball history. One question was "Who's on first?" At least five kids answered, "Greg."
