Very sad news but Tom's mom passed away yesterday.
One of the reasons he was unable to make the trip.
I do know that he is quite delighted with his son's performance and did make his day a bit brighter.
I hope he doesn't mind my post, but just wanted you to know why he hasn't been around. The Davis family has had a tough year, but I think things are gonna be OK for them in 2007!

You all have been great to us over the past 8 months or so. Please know that your prayers and kind words are very, VERY sincerely appreciated.
We (brother and sisters) were with my mom and we know she is at peace and with our dad now who she has missed terribly for nearly 21 years. She told us early in the day that she was seeing angels and our dad, so we knew it was near. Thank you Dad!
I figure the two of them zipped down to Guatemala together last night to enjoy the ballgame.
