Godwin/Freeman ppd., moves back to Friday 5/17

Heavy rains have forced the postponement of tonight's Godwin/Freeman game. It has been rescheduled for 7pm Friday night at Freeman.

The Mills Godwin at Douglas Freeman baseball game has been moved up to Thursday night at 7:00pm.

Earlier tonight Godwin defeated J.R. Tuckdr 10-1 to remain one game back of 1st place Freeman. If Godwin beats Freeman on Thursday, a one game playoff will be held on Friday or Saturday between those teams to determine who wins the automatic Central Region berth. Freeman clinches the district title outright with a win.

Game will be at Douglas Freeman tonight. The Rebels won the first meeting this season over at Godwin, 10-1 on April 11.
