First, baseball players are allowed to transfer once with no penalty. The only exceptions would be if players transfer within the same conference (some conferences require that you sit out a year in that case). Any transfer from JUCO to a 4-year school should be seamless if the player meets all academic eligibility requirements.
If you are a JUCO transfer that was a nonqualifier coming out of HS, you will need your AA degree to play D-I ball. If you transfer wihout the AA, you will have to sit one year after.

If you were a qualifyer (double check this) I believe you need to pass 12 credits for each semester of attendance to be an eligible D-I transfer.

The catch is, if you are a JUCO transfer that has taken the mimimum (12 credits) and decides to transfer after your 4th semester, you now have to worry about % of degree and how many of your JUCO credits are transferable to that D-I instituiton. Depending on your number of transferable credits, if it is too low by NCAA standards for % of degree, you could be ineligible.

I don't know the rules for D-II or III.

If transfering to a D-III to a D-I institution, you need a release (in some cases, even if you didn't play) and you need to be in good academic standing (eligible to play) at the D-III institution to be eligible at the D-I institution.

BCB has pretty much hit the nail on the head, good job on your homework. The only difference if you transfer from a JUCO after your 1st yr. to a DII school, you must multiply 12 hours by the number of full time semesters attended to have your magic number of transferable hours needed to be eligible immediately. Note basketweaving does not count. Good luck to ya.
