Can a reliever (pitcher) who has been pulled but stays in the field be re-entered 2 innings later?

To pitch? Yes, he can
he can still pitch as long as he wasn't pulled because it was mandatory due to the number of visits.

I don't understand your response. In HS he can leave the mound and return once an inning.
So if he was pulled because it was the coaches 3rd visit (and mandatory) he could reenter after the next pitch?

If for example in the 6th inning the coach is making his fourth visit to the mound, then the pitcher must be removed for the duration of the game [3-4-1 Penalty]
So, you guys are saying that the coach could trade two pitchers, per se, a lefty and righty every other batter for the entire game?

No. A pitcher can return to pitch [a maximum of] once per inning.
