It depends. If the sunglasses are really dark when u put them on I wouldnt wear them. I tried a pair out a few weeks ago and they were really dark and I couldnt track the ball. So I went to Dunhams and for 30 bucks I found a nice pair from Easton that blocks the sun and its like still clear like your seeing out of glasses. They are perfect for baseball.

As a coach who has been in the third basebox and keep up with the ball I've found that polarized glasses are the best. It makes everything clearer and sharper but without blinding you from the sun. You can find them at a Wal-Mart in the fishing department for around $15 - $25 but they're not very durable. So you may want to factor that in but since I really don't need them durable it works for me.

Was just going to post this. My daughter wore polarized cheap glasses (for softball practice one day) that did not bend upon contact. 8 stitches I think? And a beautiful "I'm tough" scar for life. We are very thankful that it was all injury to skin and not the eye. I'm looking for cheap polarized glasses that do not shatter.
