I resigned this week. I was offered an excellent opportunity as the Lead Technical Support Engineer for a dynamic software company, I will be heading up their technical support department. It is a lot more responsibility, the company is small but the atomsphere is very positive(unlike this place) and I am looking forward to the challenge.
One of the guys that runs the youth basketball club that I coach for, is the VP of Sales and he introduced me to the VP of Engineering and the CEO...of course they LOVED me. I had an interview last Tuesday morning and Tuesday night the CEO called me at home to extend an offer.
So I will be hanging out in the Ladies Lounge a little less frequently but I won't be a stranger. Now that I am going to be the H.B.I.C(my co-workers term), my plate is going to be pretty full.
