I'm doing a very good job of maintaining good sportsmanship this summer but there have been a few times when I would really like to holler or unload. since that would be very bad; I will use this venue and some of my favorite umps to unload on here! (it's all in fun guys.... and you can fire back)

C'mon Pia... in the top of the 1st you had a strike zone the size of a pea; now we are batting and you've decided that a Westinghouse refridgerator will be your reference point!!!!

Hey Michael S Taylor... does the S stand for "Searching?" You could notice an open gate or a hairline crack on a batting helmet from 4 fields away but apparently you've never come across an infield fly before!

Hey Dash Riprock; just because the guy "had the base stole" he still has to go back to first on a foul ball.

There I feel so much better.... and I'm still in contention to win a sportsmanship award.

Actually my blue friends this summer have done pretty well; we've had a few that were just learning that got in some sticky spots but that is part of the game.

.... Have a great day guys... Smile

15U, wood bat tourny, deep into everybodies pitching staff's..
Score a 8 7, 1 run ball game, bottom of 7.

2 outs, LO batter, F7 pretty deep (1)followed by a LD to F4 near 2B. 3 batter, scalds one to F6 who makes a self defense play but throws it low for an E. R1.
4 batter lines 1st pitch 270', about 8' off the ground, FOUL, then gets nothing close and walks on 5 pitches.
R1, R2, B5 gets up 2-0.
Next pitch Runners go! B takes ball 3 high.

F2 snaps a rocket off to F5 (one of several during the game by the way), nails runner by 6'-7'.
F5 takes throw in front of the bag, steps towards 2B, swipes a beauty of a tag across the now sliding R2's ankle area, no doubter, not close, then, F5 follows the runner to the bag, like he missed him (must a just been being sure?) cause I got an out, just le me see the ball one more time, ah there it is, ball game.

3BC, "I can't believe you called him out".

Me: "I can't believe, you were looking for an over throw there?"
