Hi, I have just written a book on college baseball called “Going with the Pitch: Adjusting to Baseball, School, and Life as a Division I College Athlete”.
(The book offers a unique look into the world of college baseball as told from the perspective of a former player. It is far less about milestones achieved and records set than it is about the process of going through college as an athlete.)

The goal of the book is to really make an impact with high school student-athletes ( and their parents ) so they are more prepared when it is their turn to play college baseball.

My book was the first part of my goal, however I also really want to go out there and talk with the athletes. Does any one have any ideas or suggestions of camps and/or showcases I could speak at in the New York/ Connecticut area? The good news is that I have some media outlets who said they would love to do a story on it so it would give this event some free publicity as well!!!

Thank you for the help everyone.

Thank you for the help. I emailed them and inquired about possibly going down there next weekend.

I hope your son has a great weekend. What year is he? Has he been looking at any specific schools yet? Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you or your son. I certainly learned a lot during my recruiting and playing days and feel like I have a pretty solid idea of how things operate.
