I was reading a magazine article that mentioned Mike K of Duke basketball and how he builds the team concept, educates young men and all the other wonderful things he does that a parent would love to see instilled in his or her own son.
It got me wondering(since I dont know many of them) who are some of the best college coaches that do more than win games? ie teach life lessons etc. The type of coaches you would entrust your son to for the four years which are so important in not only baseball development but also self development and life skills. I know we have some very well informed posters so I am curious to learn a little bit more about some of our best college baseball coaches? Please share any stories as well.
