Congrats to all the great players on this team....

Now I wish someone could explain to me what has happened with the honor that All Metro once was... A player picked at EACH position who played that position on a primary basis. Not 2 SS..ONE . Not an OF who was a number one P. Either you are the number one RH/LH pitcher or you're not. Either you are 1st team SS or you're not. Either you play the OF primarily or you don't. There were 7 number one pitchers on All Metro 1st team this morning. 7 !??

The fact that these players are great and deserving to be recognized is irrelevant to 1st team all metro IMHO.
