Hey, anyone know anything about this Baseball program? I had not heard of the school until recently and it seems to have a great academic reputation.

In case you don't get any direct feedback, you can search "Grinnell" here on the site. There used to be more info regarding this school as one of the regular posters had a son play there 4 yrs (I think '13-'16?). It doesn't look like he still posts but you may be able to reach him or at least read the previous threads.
There are a ton of posts and one even has a link to a video of student interviews about their experiences there.
The previous poster was RyanRod23. Not sure if MAM's son ended up going there more recently but that was the plan at one point.
Great school!
There is a user whose son is currently a senior at Grinnell. I'm sure he'll chime in, either here or privately.
The Grinnell head coach is a good communicator. He saw my son at HeadFirst in the summer between Sophmore and Junior year and sent my son 3-4 handwritten snail mails during the school year. He's a real class act and the school is an excellent liberal arts school. Not sure about the quality of baseball but I would think this would be a very good landing spot academically and from our limited experience the coach seems great.
Happy to answer any questions about the program, the coach, the school. My son is a senior there right now. Coach is a great guy, Program is on verge of breaking through. Last year should have been their year to get D3 Regionals. Great academics. I mean great. Tremendous feeder school for top-10 graduate programs. Shoot me a private message with specific questions.
Toured the field with my 17yo after a PG Tournament in Marion. Nice, modest field. My son P/RH hitting OF was both amused and terrified of the very short LF fence. Real grass, not turf.
Very good school academically located in a small town surrounded by corn fields.
Grinnell is a super nice Iowa community. The college is very attractive and a very strong academic school. Definitely worth taking a look at.
Grinnell is a great school. My son knows someone who played there all four years and he says really nice things about Coach Hollibaugh and his program. He says it was the best four years of his life.
Son played and graduated 2019. Coach straight up guy. School top liberal arts. Does have it's own culture but most kids find a away to fit in. PM me if you want.
