Replies sorted oldest to newest

I believe it should always be the case. I’m trying to think of why it wouldn’t. Sometimes if a pitcher throws twice (for example again in a top prospect game) we could have two different high readings, but we try to use the highest reading.

Usually we will have more than one scout with a gun and I suppose the notes from the slower reading could have been entered in the database, while the higher reading was listed elsewhere in a report. We are capable of making mistakes, though we try hard not to.

Have the differences in top velocities you’re talking about been off very far? I’d like to check that out and correct it if that’s the case. It would save us a lot of time if you could give an example.
