I do not disagree with you, I am one of the folks that certainly could be considered on the border with a few of the posts I put up here.

Chalk it up to bad judgement (maybe) on my part, and a kid that was just given a new toy.

I am sure one of two things will happen. Julie will pull the plug; or us manly men will ratchet down a bit with their new toy and be more in line with what is socially acceptable.

If you have any questions or concerns about anything I put up, give me a shout.

My .02 worth. Last week, I had to talk to a kid who's juco coach wanted him to consider red-shirting this year. He was shocked and more than a little upset about it, since he thought he'd be seeing regular innings. We talked (at his parent's request) and the first thing I said to him was "Don't ever handle yourself in front of your coaches or teammates in a way you'll be embarassed about afterward". Well, he represented himself very well, and it all worked out nicely in the end.

Maybe we should follow the same philosophy? At least a little bit?
