How about hail to the Hokies? I too am glad to see Marcus Vick gone from Blacksburg. Its an excellent opportunity to show that thuggery won't be tolerated by universities regardless of the "star" status of a player. Suspended for all of 2004, and now canned due to repeated legal and other transgressions, why would anyone want him?

Its too soon to forget Maurice Clarett, and Marcus Vick seems to be another who's headed in that wrong direction, IMO.
Its been said about many things that...timing is eveything. For the Patriots, this seems to be the case right now. Is Tom Brady the Joe Montana of current times?

JT, there isn't a team in the NFL that the Colts would be hesitant to play, or they wouldn't have acheived the fantastic season they're put together. Amateur teams, yeah many of them don't want to play certain teams because they know they're overmatched; but in pro sports, especially at the playoff level, it's not the same. I can't imagine the Colts being anything but totally confident that they'll be playing in February. That said, Colts vs. Pats might be almost as good as USC vs. Texas.

Well they say that defense wins championships and the Redskins D was very good yesterday.

Gibbs has always been very conservative, maybe even a little too much for my taste but bottom line they got the job done.

The Skins are one of three teams that beat Seattle this season, I doubt their defense is as good as Tampa yesterday so I expect more offense next week.

I really didn't expect them to get this far based on play earlier in the season but now I think they have as good a chance as anyone.

Go Skins
Actually, there's only a hall named after MV1, in the sports complex, not a building. But he took the program to a national height sought for many years, so he deserves that much. A shame about the younger brother, but maybe this will wake MV2 up and he'll mature. Very classy mom they have, if you read the quotes. Let's hope MV2 grows up, but I'm glad he'll do it elsewhere.
GO REDSKINS!! I guess the game hasn't passed Joe by quite yet!

Many say that he sits on leads (even me at times). But, consider this, in his career he has NEVER lost a game with a half-time lead!

Giants out, Dallas out, it simply doesn't get any better than this. Smile

I don't know how far they will go but as far as my diehard Redskin family is concerned they have already far exceeded expectations.
Holden, I'm gonna guess that you aren't old enough to have seen many of Montana's games.

Starting with "The Catch" and running for many years, he was the epitome of a winner, and did much of it while people suggested he didn't have the arm strength or mobility that was needed. Kinda like Brady. All they do is win. Holden, you need to check out how many rings Mr. Montana owns, then you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about. He's ahead of Mr. Brady in that department, though maybe not for long.
I guess we have a different view, in part because of where we live. I think they are two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and Brady has a chance to still do many great things. I think they are similar in many regards. You have a different opinion, and that is one of the wonderfual things about this great nation, we can all believe what we choose.

Heck, you can even believe the Redskins have a chance Wink
Doesn't everybody pack a pistol when they go to McDonald's?

A whole new ad campaign could materialize:

"You deserve a break today, pull your gun and get away...from McDonalds"

"Two all beef patties, lettuce cheese, uzzi, pistol, hand grenade..."

"NRA special, free burgers with every pulled weapon"

Just awful..MV2's behavior and my sense of humor.
