After starting the season with 7 away games in a row, and then having a storm with 65 mph winds blow up, literally, our opening day at home, snapping off a backstop pole and bending others...after 27 days of no home games, waiting out the insurance and repair process, we finally got back on our field last night...and indeed there's no place like home. A couple other league teams were great letting us play at their places but it sure is nice...never take your home field for granted. We were 19 games into our season before the first pitch on our field.

(P.S. This is not a big deal to most, but I really tired of seeing the same topic since May...)
