If everyone swapped out curls for chin-ups and pull-ups, it would be a huge benefit. Chin-ups build the huge guns you want but also develop lat and tricep strength - both way more important in baseball (and athletics in general) than bicep strength.
Chinups and pullups are to be done everyday...so no need to swap out the curls for them...Curls do have their benefits and very good observation Kyle, Chinups and pullups are incredible exercises.
