Just wondering what players in the area are looked at as Pro Prospects. Would be nice to get a look at some of these players before they are drafted or go to major college programs.

At the high school level in the 2014 class:
Devon Fisher, C, Western Branch
Charlie Cody, INF, Great Bridge
Taylor Lane, INF, formerly GB/ at IMG Academy now
Chase Pinder, OF , Poquoson
Christian Lowry, OF, Hickory
In the 2015 HS class so far:
Connor Eason, LHP, Hickory
Paul Hall, LHP, Maury
Evan Sperling, RHP, Grafton
Andrew Bullock, 1B, Grassfield
Stephen Polansky, OF/C, Hickory
Fisher is a 2014.
Fisher and Cody are listed in a number of players as among the best 50-100 HS players in the country. I have seen both as high as inside the top 30 and it seems Fisher is getting more attention of the two.
Cody is the real deal. The reason you do hear much about him is he is going to UVA.
Most teams in 757 pitch around him...
No doubt about that...and he has been since he was 5 and could have played with the 8-10 year old kids. But there is also no doubt Fishers stock is on the upswing since last spring. Cody has been an All-American since his Freshman year.
Are you talking about be drafted in General or a high pick. 1st - 5th rounds
There are many many players that could get drafted but in the money in a mystery.
I was just talking about Drafted in any round.
I think both Fischer and Cody are universally regarded as in the top 100 HS players in America and probably closer to the 25-50 range for both. Assuming that, I'd say if they were signable for the pros they'd probably be in the top 2-4 rounds. It is widely believed Cody like his teammate from last year is firmly committed to go to school at UVA. Ultimately C. Jones ended up as a 20th +/- round flyer and was projected as a late 1 or early 2.

Jones told MLB he was going to UVA do not draft me. That's why he was a late pick or he would have gone in 1st or 2nd round.
