thank you for your service Polo. I'm new to this site but not to this country. I'm not a vet. but thanks to all who served. love your God, your Country, your Family, and your Baseball.
I agree with 1dunbquestion, I never served either but certainly appreciate those that have.
My heartfelt thanks and hopes go out to all.vets today.....including my own daughter in the US Army...a 19 yr old PFC anticpating her first deployment....
Ditto the appreciation from here too. My flag was flying today. I have a son on the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower.
My great-great-great-great grandfather fought the British in the War for Independence. My great-great grandfather fought the confederates in the War Between the States. My great grandfather fought the Spanish in Cuba. My grandfather fought the Germans in WWI. My 86 year father fought the Japanese in WWII and the North Koreans and Chinese in Korea. I fought the North Vietnamese and my son is scheduled to depart for Iraq next summer
