This is going to sound stange but it is true. My son (high school soph), but this condition has been with him for years. He has a very good and strong arm. Probably the best in our area. Can throw long toss up to 90 yards and can pitch consistantly 81 to 83 mph.Well built 5'11" 175lbs. Here is the problem. No matter when he first begins to throw whether it is playing catch or the first 5 minutes of long toss or pre game warmups he cannot get the ball to his partner. The ball either bouces VERY short or goes over the head. I'm talking no more than 15 feet apart. It would look to a stranger like he just arrived from a foreign country and never threw a baseball before. He gets very frustrated. After a good ten minutes and when he begins to throw harder everything is fine. His pitching instructor says hes never seen anything like in 20 years of private instruction. It is kind of funny to watch be it really bothers him to the point where we get to fields and events 20 minutes early just so he and get loose before getting loose!
