I am in my freshman year of college right now. I could have gone to play baseball at a D3 school out of high school but instead decided to go to a big school and not play which was a really hard decision. The club team is very competitive so I decided I didnt want to commit that much time just to play club ball and I wasnt adjusted to college classes yet. I am now regretting not playing because baseball is my passion and I love the game. I'm not sure what to do. Should I get ready this summer and play club next year and see where it goes? or should i contact the club coach and see if i can work out with the team after the fall season and during spring? I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Many on this site understand that is a very difficult decision to make. You made a mature decision to adjust to classes.

If it is your passion and you can (now) balance academics and club baseball, I would contact the club coach now to map out a future timeline for getting involved with the club.
