Hawaiian Tropic Myrtle Beach 4/12-16

Wouldn't you know that after 5 years of HS ball (my son played on the HS team as a 8th grader) now the HS gets the permission needed to attend a spring break tournament in Myrtle Beach... Can you say I am bumbed.. HS Coach didnt even want to tell me what all the extra fundraising was for

OHS got permission to attend after our days there ended. They are going to one of the MB tournaments, not sure which one... If I had an extra week of vacation I would be very tempted to go along with them..

Just curious. We attended the Hawaiian Tropic last year and again this year 4/12-4/16. Notre Dame is loaded with talent this year, just a matter of using it the right way.

Say hi to the ND guys we mutually know.. maybe this season, sine I don't have HS ball of my own I will finally get to see you guys play..

This will be our third and last year going down to Myrtle Beach to watch my son's high school team, Archbishop Molloy compete in the Hawaiian tropic tournament. It's a great tournament. I can't wait to get some She Crab soup and some southern barbeque!

Handley, For 2 years you have entertained us with your wit and vast knowledge of the game. Just wondering what your beef with NDA is about. Whenever they are mentioned you are always the one with the negative comments. Why? If you don't have a player there what would your obvious interest be? I can only think of a couple of reasons why you would continue to assault a high school program like you do. Did you once attempt to coach there and get replaced? What's up? I havn't seen them play but I know a few of the players and they are just like all other HS players. They want to win, they play hard, work on academics and you continue to bash teenagers. I don't get it. You obviously have an ax to grind, jsut wish you would grind it somewhere else. I'm sure if you went to one of the NDA games and introduced yourself someone would buy you a hotdog and give you a tour of the facilities.

So the schedule says we play Notre Dame. Should I ask them to take it easy on us? We're just a bunch of snowbirds!

Notre Dame lost tonight to A team from Canfield,Ohio From what I understand Canfield lost 17 Seniors,9 starters and 6 pitchers.From what I unsderstand won 4-3 and last year 7-6,This is just a small div ll public school that plays with what they are delt. Do they have a Jr. high that all the kids come from at
ND or Do they come in from all over they state. One more notch in the belt for the small public schools. Cardinal Buckeye OUT!
