HCYP RAIDERS is one of the largest youth baseball programs in the state of Maryland .It has both a travel and rec program. Several of their travels teams have compteted on the national level. They are located in Ellicott City, Maryland, a suburb of DC and Baltimore .

Have played against them in a variety of tourneys....not always really competitive.
I watched them play in Indianapolis at a National tournament tonight. Saw a kid on the mound 90mph+ that got some good looks from some schools. A parent or manager for the team that was in the stands made the program look classless though. It was truly a shame that they let a guy like this travel with the team. He chest bumped an event coordinator after the team lost 7-0 to another team after the two teams were requested to help pull a field tarp because of rain. I don't have a kid in the tournament but I was embarrassed for everyone on that program just watching his actions. Is this just a bad egg?
I am familiar with the team that is in Indianapolis this week and that surprises me about the adult's behavior. I know most of the families and that type of behavior would make all of them cringe. The pitcher throwing 90+...I'm not doubting your observations but they must have brought a ringer in because there is no one on that team that throws that hard.

The parents have been nothing but great, same with the coaches, just one bad seed from what it looked like. They are 1-1 and need a win to advance to the championship bracket.
