Heads Up Baseball: The Best Book?

Agree, I think Heads Up is the best in print. As far as best material, I like the dvd's from Brian Cain, who was a student of Ravizza's.

Brian Cane is a great man! I enjoy reading all of his information.

Heads up Baseball is great. Excellent work. I'm going to start giving it out as "gifts".

Anybody seen "Play Big" by Dr. Tom Hanson (co-author of "Heads Up Baseball")?

NDD or anyone else - Have you read the new Hanson book? I have not, but it seems like the kind of book that could replace "Heads up Baseball" and "The Mental Game of Baseball" at the top of the canon. Thanks.

No, I haven't read it, I can't even find it for sale.

Received it yesterday. Several books in front of it that I need to read first. I just can't resist a new baseball book.

Mine came yesterday. I stayed up until 3 reading it and I'm about 1/3 of the way.

Doing what he did with this one was brilliant! Great way to get the younger players to read and understand.

Even though I'm not done, I already recommend it.

While I haven't read "Heads Up Baseball" (though it is now on my list of books to read) I would highly recommend the book "Baseball's Sixth Tool" by Mark Gola. Has some great information about different scenarios where you can take advantage of the mental side of baseball.
