The Heat 13U (based in Alexandria VA) are looking for up to 4 players to add to their 2011 spring/summer roster, and specifically are interested in pitchers and a catcher. The Heat is a travel team entering its 9th consectutive season. The Heat is coached by Greg Moviel (head coach at Episcopal High School in Alex, VA), formerly a pitcher with the Seattle Mariners organization. The Heat are a strong team and play both leagues (Northern Va Travel Baseball League and tournaments. The Heat is designed to prepare boys for high school baseball (and beyond) in a competitive and positive environment. The Heat will play high level tournaments (4) in the spring (March thru May). The summer season will run from June thru the 3rd week of July and will also include league and tournament play. The Heat will have regular winter workouts starting in December and continuing thru early March.
