Sorry for the length of this but I need some help and a bit of background is in order. My son is a senior. He missed his junior season do to health problems and was not able to play summer ball either. His High School is currently ranked in the top 5 in Michigan. He made the team and has been the DH in all 9 games thus far. His BA is .500 and it appears he has worked himself into the defensive lineup (2nd base) starting tomorrow. This is all very great and he is truly happier than I have seen him in over a year!

Here is the problem. He is uncommitted and although there have been a few recruiting folks from some local schools at a couple of games I am concerned he is being overlooked. Jerry has invited him to the uncommitted showcase in June but unfortunately that is smack in the middle of the playoffs. Based on his team’s performance so far they may still be alive and my son doesn’t want to go to a showcase if he can contribute to a possible State title. He is more interested in going the JUCO route but I am at a loss as to how to get him noticed at this late date?

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!
