Thanks for a moment of your time....

Parents and friends of the Towson Baseball Team have geared up to try to save the progeam at the school. Some thoughts and links to Univ. releases are here in this thread... http://hsbaseballweb.com/eve/f...6002781/m/9407037426

If you feel the urge to help, you can follow the following link to add your name to a petition. This site will ask you to fill in your name and email. After entering that data, the submitt button takes you to a final page that will ask for a donation.... BE AWARE that the donation asked for is for... is in no way connected to the baseball parents... it is for the i-petition site itself. You DO NOT need to make a donation to sign the petition.... just close the window and all is well.

The link is here:

Bumped ... for your consideration.

The parents and friends of the program are working hard to get the message out, and a decision by the powers that be will be made soon.
There is strength in numbers.... a "vote" by petition goes a long way, so thanks for those that have signed or those that will.

..... over 100 alumni were present last weekend for the annual game... so many that they split up the group and played each other......

.... how would you like the job of getting 50 players into a game.??

The AD is talking less about title 9 and more about finance. The $$ from the 2 programs will be spent on other teams.... so no savings to the bottom line.
Here is a link to the groups web page..

thanks for your time..
Thanks dad...
....it is pretty remarkable how the parents came together for their sons and the program. Lots of effort in such a small time window.
Our son graduated last spring and lives in the Towson area, and remains close with his former teamamtes and staff. Thanks to his hard work AND the work of the staff he finished his degree in 4 years and left his mark on what I hope and pray remains a viable program.
